The first official weekly 2UESDAY email was sent on July 6, 2021.

The email was 2003: your home is not a Home 🏠

When I started this newsletter, I had no idea where I was going. I just wanted a place to write and share my ideas. Back then, it wasn’t even called 2UESDAY, it was called “is it Tuesday yet?”

My hope was that people would fall in love with it and look forward to reading it every week. They’d walk around asking themselves “is it Tuesday yet?” anticipating what I was going to write about. It’s interesting how things happen. I did get a few people hooked who were regularly responding to the emails sharing their thoughts, or texting me at noon on the days I didn’t send it before 9 am. They’d ask me “Where’s Tuesday?” or “I loved Tuesday this week!”

That’s how it happened. It wasn’t my idea to just call it 2UESDAY, but that’s what the people called it. And that’s what it became. Now, 181 weeks after that first email, we’re two weeks away from the third season of 2UESDAY, and I’ve got a very special announcement.

2UESDAY is officially a registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 2UESDAY is here for the long run. I could never have done it without every single person reading this email right now.
